How it Works
Laser therapy works fascinatingly. Here’s the science of it.
The BioFlex products emit light through LEDs (light-emitting diodes) in three different forms. These forms consist of red light, infrared light, and pulsed light. Each light has contrasting effects on treated areas. For more information, please visit BioFlex’s official site.
Red light is the most common light used in laser therapy and has the strongest wavelength in comparison to any other light on the spectrum. This light positively affects the efficiency of ATP (energy for cells) production in cells, promoting cell recovery by obtaining

How Red Light Therapy Works
Red Light Therapy (RLT), also known as photobiomodulation (PBM) or low-level laser therapy (LLLT), is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared (NIR) light to penetrate the skin and underlying tissues. Unlike ultraviolet (UV) light, which can damage cells, red and NIR light work at a cellular level to enhance mitochondrial function—the powerhouse of the cell—by increasing the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s primary energy source. This boost in cellular energy enhances cell regeneration, reduces oxidative stress, and promotes overall tissue repair.
